Cristex Mortar Admix is a powder additive which works to continuously
prevent moisture from penetrating through the concrete by creating a catalytic chemical reaction within the pores and capillaries to enhance the hydration process of the cement component within the concrete.
With a low consumption of only 2 kg of additive per 100 kg of cement (or maximum 7 kg of additive per 1 cubic meter of concrete) and a plastic bucket recyclable packaging Cristex Admix has the following advantages:
- Whole section, permanent waterproofing of concrete.
- The crystallization effect reactivates permanently in the presence of water.
- Tested at both positive and negative water pressure.
- Eliminates further waterproofing systems.
- Reduces the shrinkage cracking up to 60%.
- Accomodates, seals and heals cracks up to 0,4 mm.
- Easy to use, economical, maximum 7 kg additive per cubic meter of concrete.
- Increases the mechanical properties of the concrete up to 20%.
- Inhibits the carbonation process and chloride ions diffusion.
- Provides resistance to chemical attack, sea water, waste water, carbonates, chlorides, sulphates, nitrates.
- Reduces the quantity of air entrainment additives (increases the entrained air up to 3%).
