Cristex Dampproofer is prepacked dry mortar based on cement, silica sand and special chemical additives, designed for crystalline waterproofing and protection of concrete.

 

Cristex Dampproofer is chemically similar with Cristex Concentrate but with a lower content of active substances, having therefore a milder action. It is used for waterproofing and protection against water with low or no pressure and as an economical alternative as a second layer (final) over Cristex Concentrate.

 

With an extremely advantageous quality price ratio and a reciclable packagging that can be used as a mixing container Cristex Damproofer has the following advantages:

 

  • Chemically reacts in depth within the concrete to prevent capillary rise of water and water leakage without pressure.
  • The crystallization effect reactivates permanently in the presence of water.
  • Seals cracks up to 0,4 mm.
  • Improves the concrete durability.
  • Protects concrete against medium chemical attack.
  • Inhibits the concrete carbonation process.
  • Can be applied on both positive or negative side.
  • Approved for use in potable water applications.
